Our Ministries
Outreach Ministry
Our Outreach Ministry allows us to show God’s love to others worldwide. In the last three years, Bethel has traveled to Aurora, North Carolina, Newtown, Connecticut, Staten Island, New York, Haiti, Kenya, and the Dominican Republic to bring assistance, relief, and love to those in need. We take medical, dental, construction, Bible study, and compassion teams worldwide because we are the hands and feet of Christ. We also work locally with Trinity “Feed the Hungry” and the Fulton Fresh Mobile Market. This intergenerational initiative provides educational demonstrations to increase awareness and consumption of in-season, local produce. A bag of free fruits and vegetables is given to participants.
Bethel members and friends are invited to participate in our Fifth Sunday Outreach Mission Days. In 2025, we will volunteer at the following charities: Atlanta Community Food Bank, Trinity Feed the Hungry Ministry, the Hapeville Community Food Pantry, and My Sister’s House (March, June, August, and November). Participants will receive Free lunch and transportation

Youth Ministry at Bethel UMC
The Youth Ministry at Bethel United Methodist Church serves youth ages 12 to 18. It provides a supportive and engaging space for young people to grow in their faith, discover their purpose, and build lasting friendships rooted in Christ. Youth Church is held every 2nd and 3rd Sunday with Coach Thomas during worship service, where teens dive deeper into the Word of God through relevant lessons, open discussions, and activities that help them connect their faith to everyday life. On every 4th Sunday, Bethel celebrates Children and Youth Sunday, where our youth lead the worship service. The Youth Ministry is centered on teaching the affirmations of the Christian faith, encouraging teens to live boldly for Christ, serve others, and actively participate in community outreach and fun events that build character and connection. Together, we are raising a generation of young leaders who love God, love people, and are excited to make a difference in the world.
